In September 1992 I had a lovely spiritual healing, which proved for me that relying on God is an effective way to solve human problems.

I was preparing to teach some dance classes, when I began to experience pain in my hip joints. It was especially painful to walk or stand, so I stopped my own dance practising. Although I had not felt pain like this before, I assumed at first it was related to exercise, and didn't do anything about it right away.

Two days later the pain was still evident. When classes were scheduled to begin in five days, I realized I needed to stop what amounted to ignoring the problem. I began to pray. I acknowledged my unchanging relation to God: that I stand on the rock of Christ; that I am the perfect, spiritual expression of God; that I have the spiritual capacity to understand Him; that God, divine Love, is always holding me up; that my spiritual identity, or true structure, is indestructible.
