I am very grateful to have known Christian Science from...
I am very grateful to have known Christian Science from my early youth. My father was introduced to this religion by a friend, who gave him the text of a Christian Science lecture. How grateful I am that my father followed the teachings of this religion and enrolled my brother and me in Sunday School.
One of my first healings was of extreme shyness. During my school years I lived in fear of being called on to speak in class. In fact, the fear was so great that I cried whenever I was asked to do this. This fear stayed with me all through my elementary and high-school years.
During this time I had been studying Christian Science and attending church. I longed to give a testimony in a Wednesday evening service, but always sat glued to my chair during the testimonial period.
