I have been studying Christian Science for only a few years...
I have been studying Christian Science for only a few years, but I have had many demonstrations of the healing power of Truth. When my husband and I found out I was pregnant, we knew we wanted to accept this as an opportunity to grow in our understanding of God and our relationship to Him. I knew that God created both me and the child I was carrying healthy and harmonious, and that we could never cause any ill to each other. I never experienced a moment of morning sickness.
We started working in prayer with a Christian Science practitioner when I was about five months along. It was a beautiful time of sharing truths about God and His blessings for us all.
We would look at the discordant beliefs associated with pregnancy and childbirth if they came to thought and, through the study of the Bible, Science and Health, and the Christian Science Hymnal, pray to recognize and understand the spiritual truths that destroy those beliefs.
