"Why would I want to keep this from anybody?"
"When I was seventeen, I ran into problems of morality. I asked myself, 'Do I really believe in Christian Science enough to devote my life to the Cause that in my heart I believe in?' I started praying every day, living what truth is. I saw that if Mrs. Eddy hadn't established this Church, I'd never have found out about Christian Science. Why would I want to keep this from anybody?
"Now membership is a symbol of commitment—a commitment to putting the majority of my effort in life to seeking salvation and helping others; seeing others the way that God made them, seeing the world as God sees it."
