Letters to the PRESS— and other articles
The Fresno Bee
From The Fresno Bee (California) September 11, 1992
I am responding to an editorial [in your newspaper] "Politics and spiritual healing" [Aug. 31], as well as to several other articles printed over previous months and years....
There are thousands of cases where children and adults alike have been diagnosed by the medical profession as incurable, as beyond medical help. Many of those same individuals have then turned to Christian Science for help and have been restored to wholeness. Are those wonderful success stories, showing the wisdom of turning to God for help and healing, reported or indeed given any credence by the press? Rarely, if ever.
