Dear Editors,
I don't know if others have had this difficulty, but I found myself wondering about Easter. Even when I shoved aside the perversions that associate Easter primarily with things like new clothes, eggs, and rabbits, I still didn't have the sense that it meant much to me.
Light. Resurrection. Rebirth. These familiar words hinted at something; but on the whole the days before Easter left me feeling a sense of heaviness rather than joy. I felt a yearning to know what this really was all about.
