My parents and I were in England about a year ago
My parents and I were in England about a year ago. We were staying in a stone farmhouse in the countryside. I was very happy there and had a fun time. But one day I started to get a cough and a headache. That day I was invited to attend a little one-roomed schoolhouse the next day by a girl my age. I immediately said yes; but that night my headache started to get worse. My mother and father and I sat down together and started repeating "the scientific statement of being" (page 468 in Science and Health). When we came to the part "Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness," I realized that I am God's reflection and God only sees me as the pure and perfect child I am. After my mother and I talked about this awhile, she tucked me into bed and said she would continue praying for me. It was very discouraging for me to think that if I was still ill in the morning, I would not be able to go to the little school in the village. But I continued to pray about my true state of being and fell asleep.
The next morning I woke up and was feeling much better. I was able to get up and have breakfast, and to go to the little schoolhouse and have a wonderful time.
I'm very grateful to God for this healing and many other healings that I have had in the past.
