I feel it is incumbent upon me to fulfill an obligation of gratitude to God and Christian Science by testifying to three decisive healings.
I was instantaneously healed of hemorrhoids. When I took a required physical examination for employment, the kindly doctor said to me, "You are physically fit, but when you reach the age of thirty you will need an operation for hemorrhoids." Being a rather new student of Christian Science, I was not alert enough to recognize this as an erroneous thought—not from God—which I needed to correct with the spiritual truth. During my thirtieth year hemorrhoids were indeed manifested. At first I ignored the problem, but then one time the pain was so great that I found myself saying, "Someday I will heal this with Christian Science." Well, almost immediately came the angel message from God, "Someday? Why not now?"
