Perfection is always present
Our genuine spirituality as God's child can never be lost.
Original in Portuguese
One afternoon my daughters and I were sitting on the porch of our house. It was quite warm, and the sun appeared very red. The landscape with the setting sun would have made a beautiful photograph.
We were talking animatedly and did not notice that it had become dark. I then pointed out the beautiful landscape to the girls, saying that the beauty of the garden and of the trees appeared to be framed by the ocean and the far-off hills. One of the girls asked how I could see it in the darkness. I assured her I knew that regardless of the darkness, the beauty was present.
