A couple of months ago I had a big bad wart on my foot
A couple of months ago I had a big bad wart on my foot. At the beginning it didn't hurt much, but soon it hurt so that I was going to have to get a bigger shoe. I could not decide what to do about it.
I'm only eight years old, but my parents let me make decisions. They said I could go to a doctor and get it cut off, but that it might come back and I might not learn anything new about God, either. I did not decide to do that. I decided to pray about it.
I called a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me, and my mom and dad helped me too. I stopped calling the wart "my wart" and I stopped looking at it. I stopped thinking ugly thoughts that did not come from God.
The pain stopped in one week, and I could walk better. The practitioner helped me for two more weeks. Then I did not need her help anymore. One night when I was sleeping, the wart fell off. I'm very grateful for that healing.
