This is a healing I had at Joshua Tree
This is a healing I had at Joshua Tree. We were hiking on a hill, and we were almost at the top when I ran into a cactus bush. A ball of cactus got stuck on my ankle. I was scared because we had been joking about stick-and-stay-in-forever cactuses. I started to cry because it hurt. My dad gave my mom something to protect her fingers, and she pulled out the cactus. We talked about how I can never really be hurt because God is good and is always with me. Then we kept hiking. I was healed! I walked back to camp and didn't feel a thing! The wildflowers were beautiful.

As Katie's mother, I would like to verify that her testimony describes the incident at Joshua Tree National Monument as it occurred. Her brother was joking and making up names for different kinds of cactus. "There's one," he'd say, "a stick-and-stay-in-forever cactus."
