See the big picture and find harmony
Looking out just for our own interests creates conflict. But gaining a less selfish and limited view brings healing.
Have you ever had a conflict in your life, and no matter how hard you tried to do the right thing, nothing got resolved? Maybe you wondered whether a solution was actually possible, and you settled for believing, "Oh well, that's life; there's nothing I can do about it."
Through my study of the Bible and of the teachings of Christian Science, I've been learning that there is something we can do about discord. While we certainly can't expect never to have challenges to face, an understanding of divine law does bring peace and healing to daily life. As we grasp something of the eternal fact that God is perfect and that He created a perfect, harmonious universe, we begin to experience more of that perfection and harmony here and now.
This perfect universe, made by God, is the real universe. It is spiritual. It is free from strife and divisiveness. The imperfection and discord around us are not reliable indicators of God's creation; they are the result of ignorance about the true nature of God and man.
