Enrollment in a Christian Science Sunday School has provided untold joy and progress for me. This has been accomplished through gaining an understanding of God and man's relationship to Him that helps me to cope with various challenges. I am forever grateful for the love and patience expressed by my Sunday School teachers.

I would like to relate a healing that took place a few years ago. A lump appeared on the back of my neck; it was unsightly and a source of discomfort. Considerable time was devoted to prayer and in pondering the Bible and the writings of Mrs. Eddy. One statement from her work Miscellaneous Writings was helpful: "Self-renuciation of all that constitutes a so-called material man, and the acknowledgment and achievement of his spiritual identity as the child of God, is Science that opens the very flood-gates of heaven; whence good flows into every avenue of being, cleansing mortals of all uncleanness, destroying all suffering, and demonstrating the true image and likeness."

Gradually I became more and more aware of my true, spiritual selfhood as the very child of God. This realization included the fact that since God has made all, and has made it good, there can be no place for any inharmonious condition to exist in spiritual reality. One evening as I was taking a shower, the lump opened and drained.
