One time when I was at school in the art room, there were...
One time when I was at school in the art room, there were some sharp scissors on the floor spread apart. As I attempted to close them back up, I caught one of my fingers in between. As soon as I saw the bleeding, I got scared. The teacher walked down to the sick bay with me, and I began to pray. I knew that God was everywhere and that He was right there with me, even closer than my teacher was. (That's close!) God didn't make accidents, so I couldn't have any.
My teacher called my father (who was at work) to come pick me up and take me home. As soon as Dad got there he closed the door and prayed with me. After school I was supposed to be going to my friend's house for dinner, but I was told that I might not be able to go because it would take a while for me to get stitches. Daddy and I knew that I wouldn't need stitches. When I got home my dad and I continued to pray and read some hymns. Then a Christian Science nurse came to clean my finger and put something around it to keep it clean. Very soon it was completely healed and I was fine.
