Pure communion
For today, do not make lists—what to do,
where to go, even what to pray about—
just listen.
With mental poise,
in stillness waiting on God,
let ideas reveal themselves completely, wholly,
not in fragments.
As you would not interrupt,
were it another speaking,
do not block a budding thought (its
source inherent in the Mind divine)
now shining forth in warm and radiant fullness.
And from such listening—with the ear now hearing—
comes the exultant "Now I see!"
