Sisters
Melinda was having trouble. She really liked being with Molly, her older sister, and doing all the things she was doing. But Molly didn't always like that. She liked doing things by herself. Sometimes Melinda would pester Molly to get her attention. Then Molly would say and do unkind things, and they would end up arguing and fighting.
One day when troubles with Molly were terrible, Melinda decided she would run away. Then she wouldn't have to try to get along with Molly anymore. She called a friend and made plans to meet at the corner gas station at 6:30 the next morning.
Melinda's mom found out about the plan to run away. She began to think about some of the people in Bible stories who tried to run away. Then Mom and Melinda talked about important ideas.
