Former homes of Mary Baker Eddy
1908-1910 Chestnut Hill home—400 Beacon Street, Newton, Massachusetts. Here Mrs. Eddy completed work on the Manual of The Mother Church and brought to fruition the publishing of the daily newspaper The Christian Science Monitor. An exhibit traces Mrs. Eddy's role as Founder and Leader of the Christian Science movement —preaching, teaching, writing, and commenting on issues still current.
