Don't forget your fan!
The first day of school was always so exciting. I could hardly wait. Boy, was I ready! I had all my school supplies and had put my name on them.
The Sunday before school started again in September, I wore my new school shoes and dress to Sunday School. All the way in the car I kept looking at my shoes and retying the bow on my new plaid dress.
When we got to church Mom said, "Now, Judith Ann" (she always meant business when she called me that), "stop looking at your clothes for just one hour. School is two days away. Sunday School is now, so give it your attention."
