Mom heard the garage door slam shut, but Greg didn't come in the house.
"He must have gone back out to be with Brian," she thought. "Nice that they play together, even though Brian's five years older than Greg. They both know a lot about baseball and love it so much."
A little later, the backdoor bell rang. Brian wanted to know if Greg was home.
