Christian Science heals!

Christian Science heals! I was raised in a home where our family placed sole reliance on God, and the healings that followed were not miraculous; they were natural. My father was a Christian Science practitioner, and in our family of four children we had numerous beautiful healings over many years. At the age of four I was healed of polio. Later my teenage sister had a healing of inflammatory rheumatism.

The Bible encourages us to "trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" (Proverbs). In 1986 I suddenly experienced a severe challenge. I wasn't able to walk freely or move about without a great deal of difficulty. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and she prayed with me, knowing that in reality nothing was going on but joyous activity.

Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy states: "Mind is the source of all movement. ..." (The complete sentence reads: "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action.") I saw there could be no restriction or limitation in God's perfect creation.
