What's scheduled for today?
Exactly, precisely what was scheduled
yesterday;
Same new thing.
(Whew! For a minute there I thought
same = routine/monotony.)
This sameness I can trust.
God's same freshness,
newness, variety—
Truth's same unfolding—
Love's same progressive revelation
of the Father-Mother's plan for me and all.
I rise up joyous
To greet His possibilities.
Love dispels the poverty of dullness, apathy;
Foretells day's rich hours at hand.
What's scheduled? His day, yes.
His steady sameness, sweet reassurance.
"Same old" vanishes before His same new.
