Why Christian healing?
With the technology of modern medicine, has Jesus' method of healing become outmoded?
For many in today's medically oriented society, the practice of Christian healing is a deeply pondered question. Why would anyone in this day and age choose to rely solely on God for cure?
Christian healing, as taught and practiced by Christ Jesus, is a natural extension of one's growing understanding and love of God. Reading and praying daily with the spiritual truths contained in the Bible, we can begin to glimpse the truly awesome and unlimited nature of the power, presence, and Being called God.
The Supreme Being is rightly seen not as the manlike superhero with long white beard sometimes portrayed by artists but as all-powerful, always present, divine Love. We come to know this perfect Love as boundless, eternal Life and immortal, all-embracing Spirit. We discover the divine nature to be the invisible and indivisible infinite Mind, or Principle, of all creation.
