The Bible says, "The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made even both of them" (Proverbs). This has been proved to me, and I enjoy excellent vision today as a result of prayer and the study of Christian Science.
A few years ago I became troubled over my vision. I wasn't seeing well with my glasses. I decided it would be appropriate to visit an optometrist and have my eyes and glasses checked to see if some adjustment should be made. The optometrist, after carefully examining my eyes, turned to me and said with surprise, "Why, you don't need glasses at all. Your vision is perfect." At that point I put aside the glasses and have had no need for them since.
Today I read the fine print in books, including the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I attribute this good vision to the understanding of my true being as a child of God, an expression of Soul, which I have gained through my study of Christian Science over the years.
