Healing ignorance—Part 2
From time to time, this Church has helpfully brought to the public information about Christian Science through advertisements run in the local press.
It is not uncommon to learn that a variety of public concerns have stemmed essentially from ignorance; ignorance about what Christian Science is and who Christian Scientists are.
As recently as five years ago our most visible missionary, The Christian Science Monitor, had virtually disappeared from a broad base of public thought. To a great extent that has been corrected in the United States through a newly designed newspaper; its broadcast service, MonitoRadio; World Monitor: The Christian Science Monitor Monthly magazine; and the highly respected nightly television newscast, World Monitor. The World Service of The Christian Science Monitor is heard via shortwave radio around the globe, including North America.
