Christian Science is clearly the greatest thing that has ever come into my life. I was introduced to it by an acting teacher who was also a good friend and fine Christian Scientist. I went to him with an acting problem one day five years ago, at a time when I was rehearsing a Broadway show. He gently suggested to me that I might want to get some prayerful help for the situation. I listened to him and called a Christian Science practitioner. I had a virtually instantaneous healing of the discordant situation at work and became vitally interested in Christian Science on the spot.

I began studying the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and attending a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. Soon I was experiencing healings, and I began to get a glimpse of this radically right way to understand God. As Science and Health states, "Ignorance of God is no longer the stepping-stone to faith." I knew it was time for me to start knowing God, and Christian Science pointed the way. During the past five years I've experienced abundant good through my study of Christian Science, and the following is an account of one of the many wonderful healings I've had.

About a year and a half ago I was hired to perform in a television sitcom. This usually consists of four days of rehearsal followed by a videotaping of the show before a live audience on the fifth day. My role called for a bit of physical comedy in which I was to jump up into the arms of the leading actor. He was to support me for a few moments and then I would jump down. We rehearsed this many times, and both of us felt confident about the move. During the taping of the show before the audience, I leapt up at the designated time and was, as rehearsed, caught by the leading actor; but then, unexpectedly, I was dropped. I landed on my head on the cement floor and was knocked unconscious for a brief time.
