My sole desire in sharing this testimonial is to give encouragement and hope to others and to strengthen their convictions, as the testimonies of others have done for me.

At one time I began waking each night with very disturbing heart palpitations, which grew more turbulent with each occurrence. One night I rose from bed to call a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer. As I walked down the corridor I felt a clear spiritual intuition that I should read the ninety-first Psalm. Although I was shaking violently, which was a symptom that seemed to accompany this heart trouble, I managed to dial the practitioner. When I heard her answer, all I could say was "Oh, please help me," to which she replied that she would immediately. She also reminded me that God was right there with me.

After I hung up, I opened the Bible to the ninety-first Psalm and drank in the lovely words of comfort, which convey God's dear promises, His great power and ever-presence. After some time I began to feel a wonderful quietness and comfort within me and was able to return to bed and to sleep.
