I would like to share a couple of healings concerning our young son. One day when he was a very active toddler, he slipped and fell headfirst into the edge of an elevated deck in our backyard. There was a cut across his forehead. I scooped him up and went inside, where I held him and comforted him until his crying ceased. Then I called a Christian Science practitioner to pray for us.
In addition to praying for our son, I sang each one of the hymns with words by Mrs. Eddy from the Christian Science Hymnal to him. With them comes a wonderful sense of comfort, and I felt God's love enfolding both of us. I knew that he had never been outside the care of God, our Father-Mother. God's man expresses spiritual wholeness, and because God is All-in-all, there is no room for anything unlike Him in His creation.
After a few minutes, our son was eager to eat dinner, although he said his head bothered him. He had a restful night's sleep, but the next day he mentioned his head again.
