The transformation of my life that has come through the study and application of Christian Science has brought health, happiness, and fulfillment.
As a frightened and frustrated youth, I awakened to my need for divine guidance. I attended a Sunday School, where I learned of God and the books of the Bible; but in my senior year of high school I realized that I needed to know how to pray to God more understandingly. I began studying about various religions, as well as psychology and other human theories.
After several years of this investigation, a friend took me to a Christian Science lecture. At its conclusion I knew Christian Science was what I had really been searching for, so I began its study in earnest. I was so starved for this truth, I spent every spare moment studying, going to Christian Science Reading Rooms, attending branch churches and all the Christian Science lectures in the area. I renewed my interest in the Bible and studied Science and Health and other writings by Mrs. Eddy. My thought was gradually being transformed. I caught a glimpse of my divine purpose in life, and I joined The Mother Church and a branch church.
