Many years ago a physician told my grandmother she had only three months to live because of complications from heart disease as well as kidney and stomach disorders. A friend, who had been healed through Christian Science after medical treatment had not helped, urged my grandmother to call a Christian Science practitioner. The call was made, and my grandmother, who had spent a year in semi-invalidism, was entirely healed. She lived a long, active life, which included raising five children.
I have been a lifelong student of Christian Science. This Science has given me a spiritual foundation on which to base my life and has fulfilled my desire to know more of God. It has been an invaluable aid in raising three sons and in dealing with the effects of divorce. After my marriage broke up, I yearned to grow spiritually. I had Christian Science class instruction and became more dedicated to Church. I also developed a growing confidence that God would provide for our family. A second marriage followed some years later to a man who had joined the branch church of which I was a member.
The spiritual understanding I've gained through the study of Science has given me clear direction and resulted in many physical healings, including those of strep throat, eye inflammation, sprained ankle, and the effects of falls.
