Stay close to God

Fear that those we love might be in danger may be the worst emotion parents have to confront.

The only real comfort I've found when in the clutch of such fear is through reasoning spiritually, along the lines of what is absolutely true. For instance: each of God's children is actually the spiritual idea of God, is actually embraced in divine Love. My child originates with Love, and there he stays, within the divine purpose, power, and permission. Since Love is Principle, there cannot be any condition contrary to spiritual integrity for the child of God. This spiritual truth is demonstrable today, now, because Christ Jesus proved its practicality, the effect of realizing God's power to heal.

When the centurion believed Jesus had the authority to heal his palsied servant, Jesus remarked on such great faith. And "his servant was healed in the selfsame hour" (see Matthew).
