All through my teen-age years and young adulthood, I periodically suffered from intense headaches and upset stomach. These were most distressing episodes that generally rendered me incapable of carrying our my daily duties. As I studied Christian Science, and grew in my understanding of Science, however, these episodes disappeared. Over many years I have had no recurrence of this trouble and have not missed days from work because of this or any physical difficulty.
One time when our son was two, he tripped over a cord to a hot coffeepot, causing the liquid to pour over his leg. His father took him to the sink to rinse the coffee grounds off his leg, reminding the boy all the time that God loved him. My mother and I each silently prayed, knowing man's spiritual immunity from any silently prayed, knowing man's spiritual immunity from any type of accident and his permanent, perfect nature as the child of God. In a few minutes the child went back to playing. He had no scar or other evidence of burn.
