Learning love
In loving we learn to love,
without fear of hurt or worse—
no acknowledgment at all.
In the quiet where no one else is
we hear the voice of the One
who gives love—
is Love.
We take love to give away—
then we have it.
For once the source is known,
love never runs dry.
That's why it takes loving
to be loved.
Without deep capacity
how hold water in a well?
Learn to love if you would be loved.
Learn to love.
So simple we miss it.
Practice on small things.
Simplify. Share. Give.
Without thought of return.
Love God first,
then, reflecting His love,
you will love yourself and everyone.
The source is God—
above, beyond, over—All.
That's why Love never runs dry,
no need to measure how much is given
for fear of running out.
Learn to love
and you learn Love
forever.
