I was raised in Christian Science and attended a Christian Science Sunday School...
I was raised in Christian Science and attended a Christian Science Sunday School. I feel I owe so much to my parents and Sunday School teachers for showing me how to practice this wonderful Science.
About five years ago, when I was living in Boston, I injured my ankle one day and could hardly walk. Since it was Wednesday, I decided to go to the weekly testimony meeting at The Mother Church. All during the service I felt God's ever-present love. And I felt a deep sense of gratitude to God. It wasn't until the service was over and I was walking home that I realized I had been healed. My ankle was perfectly fine.
About two and a half years ago I had what was to me another significant healing. I was feeling very ill and couldn't get out of bed. A friend came over to help, but I didn't really respond.
