I was introduced to Christian Science through a friend when I was a young teen-ager. The logic of this Science appealed to me, and when I read the testimonies of healing in the chapter titled "Fruitage" at the end of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I knew this teaching was the truth. Since that time I've had wonderful healings through the study and practice of this Science.

One healing, of a broken rib, occurred while I was working on a farm some years ago. In three weeks the healing was complete through prayer alone, and I was lifting heavy bales of straw and hay without any pain or difficulty.

More recently, I had a wonderful proof of God's healing power. I was driving my small car in the nearside lane of a three-lane motorway. As I was driving along, and very near my destination, my car was struck from behind by a lorry driver who was doing between sixty and seventy miles per hour. He had been driving for a long time and apparently had dozed off. The force of the impact tossed my small car over and over several times, damaging it beyond repair. No other cars were involved.
