I have been a Christian Scientist all my life and have always...
I have been a Christian Scientist all my life and have always been grateful that I was brought up in this teaching. I feel it is a way of life, and I can't imagine being without it.
At one point for a number of years I often had terrible headaches. As I prayed to overcome them, gradually the intense headaches ceased. However, I still had headaches off and on. Each time this happened I would turn to God and reason with the spiritual truths of Christian Science.
One particular time when I was to go out for an evening meeting I had the familiar symptoms. I lay down but continued praying for myself. The discomfort lessened somewhat yet still bothered me.
