Power over "creeping things"
Annie liked skiing so much that she joined the ski team in her town. After a successful racing season she was chosen to be one of ten from her division to compete in the Junior Olympics. She was thrilled to reach her yearlong goal to participate in the JOs.
Just a few days before leaving for those races in another state, Annie took the bus up to the ski resort so she could practice her turns at high speed. Downhill was her speciality; she liked going fast and had a good tuck.
The World Cup races had just been held at this resort, and course workers on snowmobiles had not finished cleaning up all the television equipment. When Annie skied down a steep run past some pines and aspens, she flew off a knoll and landed right on top of a parked snowmobile.
