Moving—the God-directed way
Moving, across town or across the country, does not have to be a draining experience. Not when our move is guided by God.
One of the more worrisome decisions an individual or family faces can be that of moving to another location.
Moving certainly presents challenges and may raise doubts and fears. Will we fit into the new community? Will our children be able to make friends and adjust to a new school system? Will we be able to afford the type of housing we need? What about selling our present home? Will the new job or promotion be worth giving up what we have now?
These are only a few of the questions that may surface when the time to move comes. But what may seem like insurmountable problems can be handled and fears can be laid to rest by turning to God for guidance. The Bible assures us, "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Prov. 3:6.
