I am grateful for the many healings I have had as a result of studying Christian Science.
When I was in high school I stopped menstruating and had a serious eating disorder. I wasn't practicing Science then, although I attended a Christian Science Sunday School. In college, through what I was learning in Science, I began to turn to God to find answers to these problems, and I occasionally called a Christian Science practitioner to help me.
The practitioner would pray for me and usually would refer me to specific passages to study in the Bible and in Mrs. Eddy's writings. I was learning more of my real spiritual identity as God's child and striving to express the spiritual qualities derived from God in everything that I did.
