A heart in prayer
Sometimes, a heart in prayer
Is like a lost sea bird,
Weary, far from any shore,
That rests upon a tossing sea.
Lifting, sinking
With the rise and fall
Of the dark waves,
Until ...
The dawn!
Then, in the clarity
Of that new light,
Floating safe
Upon Truth´s buoyancy,
The heart spreads wide
Its Life-renewed,
Sky-confident wings ...
And cups the freshening air ...
And soars!
