One Friday I was playing at school during recess

One Friday I was playing at school during recess. I was looking forward to school getting out that day, because I had plans to go to my grandmother and grandfather's house and ride their new, four-wheel, all-terrain vehicle. Suddenly, without looking, I ran into a branch that stuck into my eye. My eye really hurt, but I soon remembered that God was right with me because He is everywhere.

I went to tell my teacher, and she sent me to the school nurse. When I was walking up the stairs to the nurse's office, I could only see out of one eye. But I kept knowing the truth that I am God's perfect child.

I remembered something I had learned in the Christian Science Sunday School. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy says (p. 468): "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all." I kept thinking about this and about some other things I had learned about God and man in Sunday School.
