I was raised in a home where prayers were a regular part of family life, but many of my questions about God remained unanswered.
After completing kindergarten training in my native Switzerland, I worked with young children in several countries before settling in the United States with my husband. While searching for a church in which to worship God with our children, we visited ten congregations before a friend introduced us to Christian Science. She patiently answered many of my questions, gave me a German translation of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and introduced me to a dear Christian Science practitioner. So started a new, happy life for our family.
