"Dear Father-Mother God,
Senate Journal
"Dear Father-Mother God,
"Let our prayer today begin with praise as we joyfully acknowledge the authority we possess as Your receptive, obedient witnesses. To show forth the healing power of our divinely bestowed intelligence is our purpose and privilege.
"The rich melody of our individual lives becomes a symphony in the glorious unity of working together to see principle triumph. That which cannot be done alone is always brought to full fruition when love for You, Father, and our fellow man is paramount.
"Just as nothing can separate us from You, Father, nothing can separate us from each other nor thwart Your plan for this day.
"In Hebrews it says Jesus was anointed with the oil of gladness above his fellows because he loved righteousness and hated iniquity.
"We ask Your blessings today because we too want to say nothing more of ourselves than that we love uprightness and hate injustice. Amen."
