This testimony is many years past due
This testimony is many years past due. It involves a physical healing of our daughter and a spiritual revitalization for myself.
During my teen years my parents began to study Christian Science and became active church members. I was attracted intellectually to this scientific Christianity but never really made it my own. During my college years and the decade afterward I drifted further and farther from any study or application of what I'd been taught in the Christian Science Sunday School or at home.
When our daughter was three years old, my husband's work took us to a new city. We arrived during a blizzard. While we were still pretty much snowbound, our daughter became ill. My husband and I located a physician through the telephone directory, and my daughter and I found our way to her office.
