I first heard of Christian Science when I was in my late teens
I first heard of Christian Science when I was in my late teens. As a child I had attended a Protestant Sunday School and had been taught the Bible; I loved God. But I felt confused and longed for something solid on which to base my life. The one fact I felt sure about was the reality of God's being.
When my mother learned of Christian Science and began attending local branch church services, I attended the Christian Science Sunday School and asked many questions. The replies and explanations given made me feel that Science was the answer to my prayer. I was very interested in this wonderful new view of life.
