Impassable? Impossible!
North, the jagged mountains rise,
South, the endless desert lies.
So, with fear, as far as I can see,
There is no way over or out for me.
But thank the Lord, who hears each prayer,
Whose power and mercy are everywhere—
Who knows with love each upturned face,
And never a dark or lonely place—
Christ's map of Soul still lights like day
God's ever-blessed homeward way.
