I Will always be grateful for the help I received through prayer when I was in a crash landing of a small airplane some years ago.
The pilot and I were returning home on a three-hundred-mile flight when we suddenly encountered an unexpected heavy fog. In an effort to find our way, we flew higher, only to find below us a fog bank in every direction. After what seemed an endless time and with darkness quickly coming on, the pilot said, "We are lost and I don't know what to do."
My mother had studied Christian Science, and my sister and I had attended a Christian Science Sunday School, which I had loved. So I knew it was time to turn to God, as I had learned to do.
