Does prayer for mankind make a difference?
Can prayer deal with such things as terrorism? A real-life experience shows how effective prayer is.
Do you pray every day? How important is prayer, anyway? And just what is prayer?
These can be difficult questions. But no matter how diverse the answers may be, probably everyone would agree that prayer involves communication with God. Then, we might ask ourselves, Who is doing the communicating? Am I doing all the talking? Or is God?
If God is doing the communicating, we should be doing the listening. And as we hear God's voice, as our thought is comforted and guided by divine wisdom and love, we feel a closeness to Him. What can be greater than to feel the closeness, the very presence, of our Father-Mother God?
