Content can't be loaded!
Whether they call it a layoff or "the golden handshake," the message is still the same: You've outlived your usefulness. But as one couple learned, this is not God's message for you or for your life.

It's easy to believe that our skill—or lack of it—can make or break our job progress. But spiritual qualities—the nature of God expressed in our lives—make an even greater difference at work.
"Call no man your father upon the earth," said Christ Jesus. What does this command tell us of ourselves and of God, the one divine Mind?
With the new year we promise ourselves we'll do better. Christian healing with its rebirth helps us to keep those promises.
In
the Gospel of Mark, a pitiful man diseased with the scourge called leprosy meekly implored Christ Jesus to heal him.
When we need healing, we can rely on spiritual judgment—the judgment that says, "Thou art whole!"
No one, young or old, is a dinosaur—and no one is actually outmoded or obsolete. God's man has never-ending usefulness.
We can all value and cherish the spiritual qualities that children so naturally express—innocence, purity, and humility.
I'm
grateful for a sense of the God-given safety and inexhaustible supply belonging to man—God's spiritual idea—learned as a child, because this understanding has helped me many times.
Having known no other spiritual guide but the teachings of Christian Science, I have learned to view life as a grand adventure.
My deepest gratitude goes out to God for the precious gift of Christian Science.
So often through the years I have been inspired, encouraged, and healed by reading a testimony in the Christian Science periodicals.
One Sunday over a year ago two fellow church members kindly gave me a lift home after an inspiring evening service at our branch church.
