Never a day passes without my giving thanks to God for Christian Science. It is time to share this joy by contributing to the periodicals that have been such an inspiration—and that in many instances have provided a healing message in time of need.

When I was a child I felt the presence of God and prayed a simple child's prayer each night. As I grew up I searched in many ways for a greater understanding of God. Then, when I was introduced to Christian Science after graduating from college, I knew the search was over and I had found the key to the Scriptures I so longed to understand.

The study of Christian Science enabled me to rely scientifically on the God I had always loved and trusted. For thirty-five years the study and application of this Science have never failed to sustain me and my family. Our family is active in sports, and I have been able to let my children participate in athletics without fear for their safety by claiming daily the true fatherhood and motherhood for each child. I have sent them forth in the arms of Love, knowing that, in the words of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 215), "Whatever is governed by God, is never for an instant deprived of the light and might of intelligence and Life."
