And obedience fills my net
If I had been fishing on that sea
and Christ had called right out to me,
"Cast the net on the right side,"
Would I have obeyed? Or denied?
The question, though, is not for then
but for today, to know that when
the Christ is giving "right side" call
(with volume full or voice quite small)
I can obey.
For after lonely, fishless night,
when morning brings its quiet light,
right side will bring a better match:
obedience with deeper catch.
